Statement of Faith

Our Religious Beliefs

 We believe in the Holy Trinity – The Father, Son and Holy Ghost; feet washing of the Saints, communion with pure water and unleavened bread; a full possession of the seven works of grace and a life free from sin. Consecration and regeneration are included in the seven works of Grace. The death, burial and resurrection of Christ, both water and Holy Spirit baptism, the second coming of Christ, his thousand year reign on earth with the Saints, both eternal and everlasting life and the resurrection of the righteous dead. (Rev. 20:6). We believe that the baptized believers of the First Born Church of the Living God, being many is one body, and God gave Christ to be head over that body which is the Church. (1 Cor. 12:12; Eph. 1:22).

 

THE APOSTLE’S CREED

 I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; which was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell (i.e., the place of the departed righteous); on the third day he arose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy sanctified church; communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection the body; and life everlasting. Amen
